Mini Festival @ City Hall 5 pm – 7 pm
Montpelier’s City Hall will be the backdrop for the Mini Festival from 5 pm to 7 pm featuring one of the world’s premier street acts, The Red Trouser Show performed by Circus Smirkus Alumni, David Graham and Tobin Renwick. These two talented acrobats, comedians, and jugglers, have performed around the world and in the United States from Boston’s Faneuil Hall to The Kennedy Center. Food and drinks will be available from award-winning Caledonia Spirits and Smokey D’s BBQ truck.
Launch Party @ The Skinny Pancake 7 pm – 9 pm
The festivities continue from 7 pm until 9 pm one block away at The Skinny Pancake which will host the official Feast of Fools Launch Party. The Hokum Bros, Vermont’s “fun band,” will play upbeat satire and foot tapping originals on the patio, crepes will be available, and Magic Hat Beer sales will support the 2020 festival. This will be an evening to celebrate the end of another gorgeous Vermont summer and the start of a new Vermont tradition in downtown Montpelier.
